USE-2025: changes

Every year, the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements (FIPI) makes changes to the structure of the state exam. This year, the authority has changed the wording of some tasks. Changes will be made to the Unified State Exam in eight subjects: Russian, foreign languages, computer science, biology, chemistry, literature, physics and social studies. Mathematics, history, and geography will remain unchanged.

Special attention should be paid to changes in the criteria for evaluating an essay in the Unified State Exam in the Russian language. They touched on both the content and the minimum number of words — now an essay of less than 99 words will be immediately rated at 0 points.

In the Unified State Exam in literature, the test part has become more complicated, while the written part has become more specific and transparent to perform. The physics exam has been slightly more complicated, but it is still less difficult than it was in 2023.
