Private Bukhtalko carried five wounded colleagues from the battlefield.

Guard Private Sergei Bukhtalko, who was performing a combat mission to provide first aid and evacuate the wounded, carried five colleagues from the battlefield. This was announced on October 8 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that, having found the wounded and received the appropriate order, Bukhtalko immediately began to provide first aid. Acting under the threat of enemy fire, the fighter assessed the condition of each victim and began to provide assistance to the seriously injured. Using standard medical equipment, he stopped the bleeding, applied tourniquets and bandages, and prepared the troops for evacuation.

Despite the continuing danger and enemy fire, the private chose the shortest and safest route, personally accompanying the evacuation and monitoring the condition of the wounded along the way. Thanks to Bukhtalko's courage and professionalism, all five servicemen were promptly taken to the location of the medical platoon, where they received qualified medical care.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the actions of the deputy commander of the artillery battery, Lieutenant Yevgeny Lapukhin, who performed the combat mission of rotating personnel to the positions of the units. During the movement, he discovered that two enemy drones were trying to attack his group: after quickly getting his bearings, Lapukhin moved the car and personnel to shelter, after which he destroyed the drones with small arms fire. After making sure of the safety of the movement, he delivered the personnel to the designated point.

Thanks to the selfless and professional actions of Lieutenant Lapukhin, the task was completed without losses among personnel and equipment.
