The ship broke anchor and ran aground in Vladivostok

In the Amur Bay of Primorsky Krai, the motor ship Russian Vostok was torn from its anchor, after which the vessel was stranded in the Tokarevsky lighthouse area. This was announced on September 8 by the press service of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"Today, the motor ship Russian Vostok was torn off its anchor point in the Amur Bay (Primorsky Krai). The vessel drifted towards the Tokarevsky lighthouse and ran aground," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that there was no crew or cargo on board the ship. No pollutants were found in the water area, and there were no casualties.

Due to the violation by the ship's owner of the mandatory requirements for the organization of the vessel's parking, the Primorsky Transport Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit in June this year demanding safe parking. The application of the supervisory authority is currently under consideration.

The press service of the North-Western Prosecutor's Office reported on August 29 that a passenger ship plying the route Uglich – Rybinsk – Tutaev – Yaroslavl was stranded on the Volga in the Yaroslavl region. It was noted that under the supervision of the prosecutor's office and with the assistance of the regional Ministry of Transport, the shipowner organized the delivery of passengers to their destination by bus.
