At least one person has been killed and four injured in a shooting in Marseille, France. Previously, the incident is linked to the showdown of local drug cartels. This was reported on August 30 by BFM TV, citing law enforcement sources.

The incident occurred at night on Rue d'Amiens. According to the report, two men, riding on a motorcycle, opened fire on a group of five people. As a result, one man in his 20s died. Three young men aged 18 and 23 were hospitalized, one of them in critical condition. The fourth victim, probably a minor, left the crime scene.

The two attackers fled the scene of the crime, and the police are looking for them, the report says. The Marseille Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation.

Earlier that day, a shooting occurred at a racetrack in Aarau, Switzerland, during a rave party. After the incident, numerous police officers, ambulances and firefighters arrived at the scene. The area around the racetrack was cordoned off. The police confirmed the fact of several shots and the presence of victims.
