- Footage of the aftermath of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on a house in Luhansk has been published
In the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a house of civilians, as a result of which a family has already been left homeless twice. Footage from the scene on August 11 was shown by Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.
The published footage shows the destroyed structure of the building, fragments of bricks and facade, as well as damaged and burnt trees near the impact site. As a result of the attack, the family of Evgeny, Anatoly and their daughter Alice were left homeless for the second time.
Anatoly himself was in the house at the time of the attack. According to him, he managed to get out of the building between arrivals. As a result of the fire, the man lost his passport.
Now the family, with the support of the staff of the Popular Front, is trying to find personal belongings and missing cats under the rubble. Volunteers also help with the restoration of documents and the organization of temporary accommodation.
"People are in shock, so as their psychological state recovers, we carry out the tasks that are necessary," said the volunteer of the Popular Front.
Eight people were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the LPR on August 6. The most serious consequences were recorded in Luhansk, where Ukrainian militants launched a missile attack on the Artyomovsky district. Residential buildings, cars and objects of civil and communal infrastructure in Stakhanov, Kirovsk, Bryanka, Pervomaisk, Rubezhny, Severodonetsk, as well as Belokurakinsky, Troitsk, Lutuginsky and Slavyanoserbsky municipal districts were also hit.
