- The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Ukraine does not have the resources to continue the conflict.
Ukraine no longer has its own resources to continue the conflict, and personnel changes in the country are related to the leadership's attempt to maintain control over the government and Western support. This was announced on August 11 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.
"Ukraine has not had its own resources to continue the conflict for a long time," he told TASS.
According to Galuzin, Kiev's personnel decisions are primarily related to internal political objectives and the desire to maintain the current management system.
"It is obvious that the personnel changes that took place were dictated by the desire of the head of the Kiev regime [Vladimir Zelensky] to retain power and control over the Western financial "trough," the Russian deputy Foreign Minister stressed.
On July 22, Zelensky officially dismissed Alexander Syrsky from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Mikhail Drapaty was put in his place. That one, as reported by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.ua", immediately came into direct conflict with the regiments that were associated with its predecessor.
