The United States will seek compensation from the Iranian authorities for the deaths of people during the conflicts. This was announced on August 10 by President Donald Trump, responding to a similar demand from the Iranian side.

The Head of State indicated that the same point would be included in all future negotiations between Washington and Tehran. He added that he had already instructed his representatives to defend this demand.

"I see that representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran are demanding compensation for the damage they suffered during the military conflict that lasted the last five months (which began because they did not receive nuclear weapons)," he wrote on the Truth Social network.

Trump noted that the Iranian leaders had provided an "interesting idea," and added that he was ready to support them with the same reason. In addition, he demanded payments to the families of Iranian protesters who have died over the past 50 years. According to Trump, 52,000 people have been killed in Iran in the last five months alone.

"Now I also demand compensation from Iran for all those people whom they killed or seriously injured with roadside bombs and during numerous conflicts," the head of the White House added.
