Several districts of Odessa and the Odessa region were left without electricity. This was announced on August 9 by the energy company DTEK.

"The power engineers of the entire Odessa region are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible," the Telegram channel said.

Parts of the Primorsky, Khadzhibeysky and Peresypsky districts of Odessa, as well as critical infrastructure facilities, were without electricity.

The company reported serious damage to the power grid. According to preliminary estimates, the restoration work will take time.

About 99 thousand subscribers on the same day were left without electricity in the Chernihiv region in northern Ukraine as a result of an accident at an energy facility. According to the data published in the Telegram channel of the company, consumers of the Chernihiv and Koryukovsky districts of the region fell under the shutdown.

On May 6, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted that the heating situation in Kiev next winter is threatening and the people in power are to blame for this. According to him, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development has promised funding, and has also found contractors for restoration work at thermal power plants. However, now the state refuses to help.
