Alaudinov stated the financial reason for concealing the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian authorities deliberately do not carry out a full identification of the deceased servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in order not to disclose the scale of losses and not to pay compensation to their relatives. This was announced on August 9 by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov.

According to Alaudinov, the Ukrainian authorities avoid carrying out a full identification of the remains of dead servicemen and publicly disclosing information about their number.

"If we really start identifying the remains, if we start announcing these loss figures, it will be a very scary figure for the population of Ukraine, which will stir people up," he told TASS.

Alaudinov also linked the concealment of information with financial obligations to the relatives of the deceased servicemen. According to him, payments to the families of the victims may require significant budgetary funds.

On August 8, Alaudinov called the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Drapaty the most terrible nationalist and Russophobe. He drew attention to the fact that since Drapaty's appointment, attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to be carried out literally "one by one" against civilian targets, including beaches where children rest.
