In the Rostov region, the entrance section partially collapsed due to a night attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In Gukovo, Rostov region, as a result of a night attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a section of one entrance in a five-story apartment building partially collapsed. This was announced on July 31 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"As a result of a UAV hit in a five-story building, a section of one entrance was partially destroyed. By the decision of the Gukovo administration commission, an emergency mode was introduced within the boundaries of the damaged house. People will receive all the payments they are entitled to. We are providing all necessary assistance," Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor went to the scene and met with the residents. Residents of all the undamaged apartments were allowed to pick up their belongings and documents, accompanied by rescuers. They were asked to stay at a temporary accommodation facility for the night.

Experts from the Don State Technical University will give an opinion on the further operation of the house, after which a decision will be made to dismantle the damaged section and restore the building.

On the same day, Slyusar reported that a child was injured in the village of Rogozhkino in the Rostov region as a result of falling debris from an APU drone. According to the head of the region, this happened at the moment when fragments of the device fell on a private house. The child has been hospitalized and is receiving all necessary medical care. In addition, in Bataysk, specialists are also working at the wreckage sites. There are no casualties or damage.
