Vladimir Putin said this on July 30 at a meeting with the head of the region, Andrei Vorobyov. There are also big problems with housing and communal services debts in the Moscow region — the governor promised a large-scale modernization of electricity and heat supply.

What was discussed at the meeting

The safety of residents and the protection of critical facilities after drone attacks remain the main tasks for the authorities of the Moscow region. The region pays compensation to citizens who have lost property or are injured. "These terrorist attacks, which are taking place and drones are hitting residential buildings, make us take seriously the protection and care of those who have lost property or been injured. We are not talking about money here, we are talking about attention and care," Andrei Vorobyov emphasized.

The Moscow Region is showing steady growth due to small and medium-sized businesses, which occupy 30% of the economy and generate 20% of tax revenues. To support investors, the region has opened two industrial parks of more than 100 hectares. The transport network is also actively developing: by September 1, the construction of the Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya highway, which will become a backup to the MKAD, will be completed, and the launch of the Oktyabrsky bypass on the M-5 Ural highway has already eliminated the "narrow throat" in the south-east of the region, simplifying movement for residents of Lyubertsy, Ramenskoye, Zhukovsky and Kolomna.

Vladimir Putin assessed the state of housing and communal services in the Moscow region and noted the main problem of the industry.: "You have a lot of debt on housing and communal services." The governor agreed and promised a large-scale modernization of electricity and heat supply. Programs are already being implemented with Rosseti to strengthen the supply centers, new boiler houses are being built and social gasification continues.

There are also shortcomings in healthcare, in particular, the shortage of polyclinic facilities due to the high migration influx. The President instructed to strengthen the outpatient unit. New polyclinics are already actively equipped with modern equipment — MRI, ultrasound and mammographs — for rapid diagnosis.
