The FSB discovered a large cache of ammunition near Donetsk

Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) have discovered a disguised cache with a large shipment of weapons and explosives on the outskirts of Donetsk. This was reported on July 9 in the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Donetsk People's Republic.

"As a result of the operational and combat activities of the FSB of Russia in the Donetsk People's Republic, a cache of weapons left by Ukrainian militants on the outskirts of Donetsk was discovered," the press service of the regional department reported.

A PKMN machine gun, eight submachine guns of various modifications (AKM, AKMS, AK-12, AK-74N, AKS-74), about 2.5 thousand cartridges, as well as 64 kg of TNT in checkers and more than 50 grenades, including thermite and thermobaric fragmentation, were seized from illegal traffic. It is reported that the entire arsenal has been transferred to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry recalled that criminal liability for illegal arms trafficking is provided for up to 20 years in prison, and urged citizens to report suspicious findings to the special services.

The Directorate of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Donetsk People's Republic and the counterintelligence service of the Central Military District have discovered a cache of weapons left by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among the seized weapons are five hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers from NATO countries, a Turkish SAR 762 MT machine gun, a Canadian Colt 7.62 mm machine gun, a German HK416 assault rifle, an Italian AR-70/90 Beretta assault rifle and a Ukrainian Safari HG-105M shotgun.
