Cyprus has declared the EU's inability to supply resources for Ukraine's energy sector

The European Union (EU) can no longer supply Ukraine with resources to repair damaged infrastructure during the energy crisis, as it is in a similar situation. This was announced on July 1 by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou.

"Ukraine's problem is that in the past, Europe could always help with the repair of energy infrastructure or with the supply of fuel. <...> But now we have a problem. The EU and Europe cannot help Ukraine at the moment, because they themselves have problems with energy due to the heat. Therefore, they currently do not have many resources to help Ukraine, as they are struggling with their energy problems," he said on his YouTube channel.

In addition, Christoforou ironically commented on the attempts of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to cope with climate and energy challenges.

"Ursula has found a solution. Just turn off the air conditioners. <...> That's how you can save energy and protect the grid. Ursula always has a solution. We have the tools. Yes, Ursula. You definitely have the tools. And you like to direct them at ordinary people, that's for sure," the journalist said.
