A hurricane that passed through the territory of the Chelyabinsk region tore off the dome of the small church in honor of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Bolshoy Kuyash. This was announced by the parish community on June 23.

"After a severe hurricane, our small church of the Nativity was damaged. We asked for help from specialists who assessed the damage," TASS quoted the parish community as saying.

The church clarified that it has already decided to restore the damaged dome and cross. The brick fence posts will also be restored and the wrought-iron fence sections will be restored.
