The press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on June 21 that the Israeli Home Front command lifted all previously existing restrictions on the population in areas located near the border with Lebanon.

"Starting at 06:00 (coincides with Moscow time) on June 22, 2026, all restrictions in the area of the contact line will be lifted, and settlements [in the area] will switch to a full level of activity, without restrictions, instead of partial," the IDF said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

It clarifies that residents are advised to continue to follow the instructions of the rear command.

On June 20, the N12 TV channel reported that the Israeli military, participating in an operation against Hezbollah units in Lebanon, had received orders to stop firing. According to the source of the publication, the corresponding order was given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz.
