"Pilot" is normal: the drama about rehab with Pal became the best new series
The eighth Pilot TV Series festival has ended in Ivanovo. It was held from 17 to 21 June. Online platforms, TV channels and independent studios have presented several dozen new projects. Among the winners are "Difficult Child", which caused a roar of laughter in the audience, a dramedy about a former athlete in rehab, "Second Wind" and "Festival" about behind—the-scenes film screenings. Ivanovo became a star city on the allotment. — Our humor is different from usual. He's ironic and like he's not real—people don't talk like that in real life. The formula that the creators came up with worked very well — there are dynamics, sharp, clear phrases, and all the characters are interesting in their own way. My hero is a very strange person, both creative and half—witted. He's a child inside and he lives by the day. I would like to know him personally," comedian Ilya Makarov, known for the show "What Happened Next?" and who played this friend of the ex—football player, told Izvestia.
The mess turns out to be unexpected for the friends — the car belongs to the daughter of a local authority, who decides to give the boys to raise his youngest son, a sociopath who dreams of following in the footsteps of an influential father.

The new program "Second Seasons" includes six projects. The victory turned out to be the continuation of "Old School" with Maria Aronova, who was one of the leaders of last year's "Pilot".

The creators of Epicrisis followed a proven route. The pilot episode of this medical drama was in many ways reminiscent of the winner of last year's festival, Anna Kuznetsova's "Breathe," where Marina Alexandrova's character, star obstetrician Lera, becomes a participant in an investigation after a difficult birth by one of the patients. Epicrisis is investigating the death of a famous TV presenter: she dies on the operating table, and successful surgeon Lisa Tarasova, played by Kristina Kazinskaya, is blamed for her death.
