A new building of the city polyclinic No. 7 was opened in Cherepovets.
On June 20, Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov attended the opening ceremony of the new building of the city polyclinic No. 7 in Cherepovets. This was reported in the press service of the regional government.
It is noted that the five-storey building was built in the Zasheksninsky district. More than 50 thousand attached residents will be able to receive medical care here. Filimonov noted that the new polyclinic is the most modern and largest in the Vologda region. More than 2.4 billion rubles were allocated from the federal and regional budgets for the construction of the facility, including about 1 billion rubles for the purchase of medical equipment.
"We have implemented this grandiose project with the support of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, under the national project "Long and Active Life" and the people's program "United Russia," the governor emphasized.
The building will have 11 departments, including emergency care, radiation diagnostics, functional and ultrasound diagnostics, as well as central sterilization, surgical and therapeutic departments. In addition, the clinic will have endoscopic and fluorography rooms, a clinical diagnostic laboratory and a pharmacy distribution center.
According to the press service of the region, at the expense of the regional budget, more than 1,000 units of medical equipment have already been purchased for the polyclinic, including magnetic resonance and computed tomography devices, a mammograph, an X-ray machine, a fluorograph and six professional-class ultrasound diagnostic systems.
In April, it was reported that the United Russia party had contributed to the construction of 7.5 thousand medical and obstetric centers, polyclinics and outpatient clinics in Russian villages. A separate block of the current people's party program is devoted to the development of the healthcare system. It is specified that in 2025, medical organizations received more than 40 thousand units of equipment.
