Witkoff announced Iran's admission of IAEA experts to nuclear facilities

US President's special Envoy Stephen Witkoff said that Iran intends to allow inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to visit its nuclear facilities. This was reported by the Associated Press (AP) on June 18.

"Iran will invite the UN Nuclear Supervision Agency to inspect its nuclear facilities and begin work on identifying and locating enriched uranium in Tehran," the publication says.

Witkoff clarified that the admission of IAEA staff to Iranian facilities is not fixed in the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran.
