Footage of the aftermath of the Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut has been published

Three floors of an apartment building were completely destroyed, and several other buildings were damaged as a result of a new Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut. Footage of the aftermath on May 8 was provided to Izvestia by the Al Mayadeen TV channel.

According to correspondent Abbad Sabbagh, Israeli planes fired several rockets at a seven-story apartment building in the Tahwitat al-Ghadir area. As a result of the incident, according to preliminary data, two people were killed and several others were injured.

"This is the third attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut since the ceasefire was announced on April 17," the journalist said.

Debris continues to be dismantled at the site, and specialists are clearing the area after the Israeli strikes.

According to the correspondent, residents of the area fear further escalation amid ongoing Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory.
