Dmitriev commented on Merz's record low rating
On June 6, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation, commented on the anti-record of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in popularity among the population.
"What should Chancellor Merz do if only 15% of Germans are satisfied with his work, and 77% are dissatisfied?" he wrote on the social network X.
The Bild newspaper had previously reported that the level of dissatisfaction with the German Chancellor among the German population had reached 77%, thereby setting a new anti-record. Merz's rating has plummeted by four percentage points compared to the end of April. At the same time, only 16% of respondents are satisfied with the work of the country's ruling coalition, while the remaining 78% expressed the opposite opinion.
