Lieutenant Bondarenko of the Guard single-handedly resisted the attack of the AFU FPV drones

Guards Lieutenant Igor Bondarenko was delivering provisions and ammunition to firing positions when he noticed in the air the FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) heading towards him. The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Tuesday, May 26.

Bondarenko quickly got his bearings, aimed at the drones with small arms, successfully shot down one drone and damaged the second. As a result, the threat was eliminated, and the Guard lieutenant delivered the cargo to the positions without further obstacles.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism of Private Pavel Yudin, who performed tasks as part of the mortar crew of the 2B11 "Sledge" 120mm mortar fire support platoon.

The calculation was tasked with destroying the exposed firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yudin took the coordinates of an enemy machine-gun cell, promptly and accurately aimed the gun at the target and opened fire. As a result, the target was completely eliminated.
