In 12 hours, the Air defense forces shot down 14 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia

In 12 hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 12 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on May 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 08:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that the drones were neutralized over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions.

Last night, the air defense forces shot down 173 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian army. It was clarified that the drones were intercepted in the skies over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl regions, as well as over the Moscow region and the Republic of Crimea.
