A civilian was killed in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region

As a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on a private house in the Kursk region, a local resident was killed. This was announced by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.

"According to updated information, yesterday an enemy drone attacked a private house near the Podol settlement in the Sudzhansky district," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

67-year-old Pelageya Nikolaevna died from her injuries. After the impact, the house caught fire. The head of the region expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. He also again urged residents to observe security measures.

There may be up to 18 victims under the rubble of the destroyed building.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the air defense forces had destroyed 17 Ukrainian drones over four regions of the Russian Federation between 07:00 and 09:00. Drones were eliminated over the territories of Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk and Ryazan regions.
