The calculations of the FPV interceptors destroyed more than 20 hexacopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in two nights.

In two nights, the calculations of the FPV interceptors of the Unmanned Systems Forces unit (UAV) as part of the Center group of forces identified and destroyed more than 20 heavy hexacopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) formations in the Dobropolsky area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on May 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the operators of FPV interceptors, acting in conjunction with intelligence officers and using standard means of communication, joined forces to search for and destroy enemy targets.

So, during night operations, the operators of FPV interceptors discovered and eliminated more than 20 heavy enemy hexacopters equipped with ammunition dumping and remote mining systems. This contributed to the successful advance of the assault groups that captured enemy strongholds.

On May 20, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crews of T-80BV tanks of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds in the Zaporizhia region. According to the agency, during aerial reconnaissance, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles discovered equipped fortified positions of Ukrainian formations, and tankers opened fire at the coordinates they received.
