Experts have calculated the cost of CTP for popular used cars
In Moscow, the cost of a CTP policy for such common cars on the secondary market as Lada Granta, Volkswagen Polo, Kia Rio, Skoda Rapid and Kia Picanto is 7,1 thousand rubles. This is stated in a joint study by the insurance company "Consent" and "Avito Avto", which was received by Izvestia on May 19.
Calculations are made for accident-free drivers over 30 years old with more than 10 years of experience and cars with the most popular engine modifications.
The cost of CTP for such models as Lada Priora, Hyundai Solaris and Mazda 3 is about 7.7 thousand rubles. For Ford Focus, Skoda Octavia and Ford Fiesta — 9 thousand rubles, and for BMW 1 series — 10.3 thousand rubles.
The CTP insurance premium is calculated according to the formula of the Bank of Russia and depends on the base tariff and correction factors: territorial, age and length of service of the driver, car capacity and insurance history, Dmitry Sokolov, Deputy Director of the Department of Underwriting and Product Management, recalled.
He noted that this approach allows us to fairly distribute the load depending on the actual risks. For example, the cost of a CTP policy for Lada Vesta in Moscow is approximately 7.7 thousand rubles, while in Crimea avtograzhdanka will cost 2.8 thousand rubles. It is the territorial coefficient set by the regulator that explains the difference in the price of the policy, the specialist pointed out.
On this day, it was reported that the maintenance of a passenger car no older than 10 years in Russia costs an average of 102 thousand rubles per year. The lowest cost of ownership was recorded for the Skoda Rapid and Lada Granta models — about 79 thousand rubles per year.
