Amid criticism on social media and a new wave of accusations of simulation, blogger Lercek (real name — Valeria Chekalina) underwent her fifth course of chemotherapy for stage four stomach cancer. After the procedures, she declared herself well. All the details are in the Izvestia article.

Lerchek's health status

Chekalina completed her fifth course of chemotherapy and felt good after the procedure. According to the blogger, this time she did not experience nausea, although the treatment is not easy for her. The woman thanked subscribers for their support and published medical documents confirming the procedures and doctors' conclusions.

"Congratulations: the fifth chemistry is over, <...> i feel good, I didn't feel sick this time, I hope the nausea won't catch up with me in the next few days," she shared on her personal blog.

Due to a serious illness, the trials involving Chekalina were temporarily suspended. Despite being diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer, she remains active, swimming and walking. This is necessary for recovery after surgery on a damaged vertebra.

Criticism of Nurses on social media and refusal of treatment in January

A discussion arose on social networks because of the footage secretly shot by one of the visitors to the Moscow fitness club. Alina Raskovskaya posted a video clip from behind, and clarified that shortly before that, the blogger had shared on social media that she was going to therapy. This publication once again raised doubts about the veracity of the diagnosis among some of the audience.

In response, the administration of the sports center terminated the contract with Raskovskaya. Against the background of rumors, Chekalina herself underwent a fifth course of chemotherapy and showed a scar after surgery and shots with ivs.

Additional questions were raised by medical documents, from which it follows that doctors recommended hospitalization on January 9th. Then Chekalina refused to be examined, which provoked controversy about the validity of her claims about the late detection of the disease due to investigative actions. There is also a discussion on the violation of the injunction against using the Internet and publishing appeals to the audience.

Support for loved ones and new projects by Lerchek

The blogger's fiance Luis Squicciarini shared that Chekalina's activity was made possible by radiation therapy, which strengthened bone tissue. He clarified that earlier, due to bone metastases, she had been in severe pain and had to use a wheelchair.

"Lera was in a wheelchair because of the pain caused by bone metastases, especially in her leg. Thanks to treatment, especially radiation therapy, the number of metastases decreased and her bones became healthier," said Squicciarini.

In parallel with her treatment, Lercek continues to do business: she recently introduced a new brand, Eyya Skin. In the advertising campaign of the project, the blogger starred without a wig to support women with cancer.
