The expert spoke about the possibility of receiving a payment for a long marriage

Some regions of Russia have introduced payments to Russians for a long marriage. This was announced on May 15 by Igor Golubchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies and International Cooperation at the IGSU Presidential Academy.

"There are no such support measures provided at the federal level. In the regions, they are introduced selectively, and, as a rule, encouragement begins with 50 years of continuous official marriage," Golubchenko explained in an interview with TASS.

According to the expert, there are several conditions for receiving the payment. For example, a marriage should be concluded in this particular region.

At the same time, in some regions of Russia, cash payments are provided, and in some only insignia.

Payments will be received at the end of April.

Vladislav Grib, Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, announced on May 8 that families with children should receive lump-sum payments by the International Children's Day, which is celebrated on June 1. He added that having many children should become part of Russia's culture and receive comprehensive support.
