Filming of the new vampire thriller "Flesh of the Gods" starring American actress Kristen Stewart has started in the Canary Islands in Spain. Her partner in the film will be actor Wagner Moura. This was announced on May 12 by the Deadline portal.
According to the production plan, the second half of the filming process will take place in Cologne, Germany. The project is directed by Panos Kosmatos, known for the film "Mandy", and the script was prepared by Andrew Kevin Walker, who worked on the thriller "Seven".
The film is set in Los Angeles in the 1980s. The plot tells the story of a married couple Raoul and Alex, who lead a luxurious lifestyle, but every night they immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the night city. After meeting a mysterious woman and her entourage, the characters find themselves drawn into a surreal reality filled with violence and hedonism.
Esme Creed-Miles, Roland Moeller and Alba Baptista also joined the cast of the project. The film also features David Schutter, Duncan Hodgkinson, Chidi Ajufo and Tasnim Jamlaoui. It is noted that Creed-Miles replaced Elizabeth Olsen in the project, and Moura took the place of Oscar Isaac, who had previously claimed the lead role.
On May 5, Medialogia presented the results of the Russian series rating for the first quarter of 2026. The absolute leader was the project "Very Strange Things", which scored 15,948 points. In second place is the series "Lilies of the Valley" (8829), and in third place is "The First Department" (7745). The fourth place was taken by the anime "Magic Battle" with 6419 points, and "Sled" rounded out the top five with 3563 points.
