Ramazanov appointed Chairman of the Dagestan Government

Acting Head of Dagestan Fedor Shchukin signed a decree appointing Magomed Ramazanov Chairman of the Government of the republic. This was announced on May 13 by the press service of the head of the region.

"Ramazanov has been appointed chairman of the government of Dagestan," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the new Prime Minister has been instructed to submit proposals on the structure of government.

Ramazanov himself called the new position a great responsibility to the residents. He promised to make the government efficient and open, build on what has already been done and solve people's specific problems.

"I am always open, always in favor of working interactions, but strict in my work. For me, first of all, the indicator is professionalism, responsibility and decency," Ramazanov said.

The President announced the termination of Sergey Melikov's work as head of the republic.

Shchukin dismissed the previous government of the republic on May 6. It is noted that the government in force before the decree will continue its functions until the formation of a new composition. At the same time, Ramazanov became the acting chairman of the government of Dagestan.
