On May 12, a decree came into force in Russia, changing the procedure for conducting and passing driver's license exams. The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

In particular, the time limits during which graduates of driving schools are allowed to take driver's license exams have changed. A test of driving skills will be scheduled no later than 60 days from the date of their successful passing of the theoretical theory exam (it was 180 days). If a candidate for driver does not pass the practical part of the exam within six months, he will have to be retested for knowledge of traffic regulations.

In addition, if during the exam a graduate of a driving school finds "means of communication, photo, video, audio equipment, electronic computing equipment, reference materials and other means of storing and transmitting information," the exam will be terminated and its results annulled.

This rule was in effect before, however, if a candidate for driver was caught using such gadgets, he could soon re-enroll in the exam. Now the next knowledge test will be scheduled no earlier than 12 months from the date of the exam, the result of which was canceled or the conduct of which was terminated.

On May 11, the Ministry of Internal Affairs warned about the prohibition of making unexpected marks in the rights. The Interior Ministry added that the requirements for issuing a certificate are regulated by a departmental order, which provides means of protection against forgery, including a protective background grid. This allows you to verify the authenticity of the document.
