Columnist Nikolai Nikulin reported on May 4 that the series "On the Trail of the Beast" will reveal new facts of military history. It was based on a real episode of the Great Patriotic War, and in order to show it as reliably as possible, the actors had to endure a lot of trials.

A significant part of the filming took place not in the pavilions, but in real alleged circumstances. Snow was falling, and the December frosts were relentless, but the entire film crew worked as a single team. This is the only way a real military-patriotic movie can be shot.
