The territory of the Moscow Kremlin will be closed to visitors on Victory Day. The Press and Public Relations Department of the Federal Security Service (FSO) of the Russian Federation announced this on Tuesday, May 5.

"On May 9, 2026, visitors will not be allowed to enter the territory of the Moscow Kremlin," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the message as saying.

The ceremonial separation of foot and horse guards of the presidential regiment of the service of the commandant of the Moscow Kremlin of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation on Cathedral Square will not take place, writes "Moscow 24".

On May 9, a parade will be held on Red Square in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Victory of the USSR in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
