The European Union (EU) is ready to impose sanctions against those involved in incidents such as the scandal between Israel and Ukraine over the grain ship. This was announced by the representative of the EU Foreign Policy Service Anwar Al-Anuni at a briefing in Brussels.

"We condemn the actions that help Russia finance the <special operation>," Haaretz quoted Al-Anuni as saying on April 27.

According to him, the European Union is ready to combat such actions by compiling sanctions lists.

On April 29, Michal Woldiger, head of the Knesset Committee on Labor and Social Security of Israel, pointed out that Ukraine had shown ingratitude by threatening to impose sanctions against Tel Aviv.

Prior to this, the country's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said that Ukraine's accusations against Israel due to the situation with the purchase of grain allegedly harvested in new regions of the Russian Federation have no evidence. At the same time, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga expressed dissatisfaction with Saarland on April 15, as Tel Aviv accepts grain ships from Russia. He stated that such allegedly "illegal trade" is unacceptable.
