The Krasnodar Territory, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad Region, as well as the Stavropol Territory and Tatarstan were named the most popular places for Russian citizens aged 55 to 60 to relax during the May holidays. This is stated on May 1 in a joint study by the non-governmental pension fund "Future" and the <url> service.

"In Russia, travelers over the age of 55 will travel to the Krasnodar Territory, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad Region, Stavropol Territory (Caucasian Mineral Waters), and the Republic of Tatarstan during the May holidays. Over the year, the Northern Capital has moved from fourth to second place in popularity among older tourists," RIA Novosti reports the results of a study that examined the total number of tours among Russians over the age of 55 during the May holidays.

It is noted that the list of popular foreign locations for Russians aged 55 and over includes Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, Abkhazia, China, Thailand, Maldives and Sri Lanka.

Pensions, salaries, child allowances: the payment schedule for May has been published

Payments will be received at the end of April.

On April 24, State Duma deputy from the Liberal Democratic Party, Deputy Chairman of the Budget and Taxes Committee Kaplan Panes said that due to the May holidays in 2026, the pension payment schedule will be adjusted, and some pensioners will be able to receive funds ahead of schedule at the end of April. According to him, pensioners whose payments to the Mir card or bank account are due from May 1 to May 4 will receive their pension for May ahead of schedule — by April 30. The rule applies to all types of pensions.: insurance, social, funded, old-age and disability benefits.
