"The Ministry of Transport does not see the expediency of such changes in legislation and does not support this idea," RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as saying.

Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin stressed that the leadership of the lower house of parliament considers it unacceptable to bring to the agenda the topic of lowering the non-fined threshold for speeding, and this idea will definitely not be supported.
