Sergey Tur, Head of the Veterinary Department of the Novosibirsk Region, has died.

The head of the Department for the organization of antiepizootic and quarantine measures of the Veterinary Department of the Novosibirsk region, Sergey Turk, has died. This was announced on April 29 by the head of the regional veterinary and sanitary support center, Yuri Schmidt.

"A man has died, condolences to his family and friends. The exact cause of the incident will be determined by the investigating authorities," he told TASS.

Animals had to be disposed of not only because of pasteurellosis, but rabies, plague and other dangerous infections became the causes in different regions.

The head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergey Dankvert, announced on March 24 that all foci and potential areas of spread of pasteurellosis had been eliminated in the Novosibirsk region.
