Zakharova called Zelensky an ignoramus after his statements about the alleged plans of the Russian Federation

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky an ignoramus because of his words about Russia's alleged plans to involve its allies in the conflict and "control its neighbors." Zakharova stated this on April 24 during an on-site briefing in Izhevsk.

"He began to claim that Russia allegedly intends to control all its neighbors and decide what kind of security should be in Europe. <...> Everyone understands that he is ignorant, but who is it designed for? All these years, Russia has been doing nothing but calling on the European Union, including NATO, to build a common indivisible security," the diplomat said.

She added that Zelensky had previously disseminated information about the alleged preparation of the military infrastructure of Belarus on the border with Ukraine. Based on this thesis, the head of the Kiev regime concluded that Moscow is preparing to draw its closest allies into a conflict with Kiev. At the same time, the Ukrainian president, as Zakharova recalled, is confident that security can supposedly be built solely from a position of strength.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the people of Ukraine independently elected Vladimir Zelensky as president, and now they are paying dearly for their decision. The current head of the Kiev regime was supposed to change the country, which he received in a "ready-made version," but was unable to do so due to lack of experience, the Belarusian leader added.

On February 21, Zakharova suggested that Kiev's Western curators had selected Zelensky based on "the principle of his unscrupulousness." She noted that the current president of Ukraine was a deeply sick man even before he came to power and that he was destroying his country and people.
