The girl Anna V., who caused a massive accident on the Garden Ring in Moscow, first knocked down a courier on an electric bike, and then rammed several more cars. The circumstances of the incident on April 21 were told by a source of Izvestia.
According to the source, Anna V. was driving a Mercedes-Benz GLE without license plates from the direction of the Earthen Rampart. On the way, she hit a 27-year-old courier on an electric bike, who was passing her car in the far right lane.
Then the girl drove into a parked Hyundai at high speed, rammed through concrete fence blocks, and demolished a Ford Mustang and Mitsubishi Outlander along the way.
After that, the Mercedes tipped over onto its roof and crashed into a Jaguar, a Belgee and a BMW X5. Only then did the car stop. Electric bike driver, Sohib Sh. — he died on the spot. A 44-year-old Mitsubishi passenger also died. The woman was hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury and fractured ribs, but could not be saved.
The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate reported the day before that a massive accident had occurred on the Garden Ring. As a result, two people were killed: a courier on an electric bike and a passenger of the injured Mitsubishi. Due to the accident, traffic on the Garden Ring was hampered, fragments of broken cars were scattered all over the road, and some vehicles flew onto the sidewalk.
Later, a source from Izvestia reported that police officers had detained 29-year-old Anna V., the alleged culprit of the accident. According to preliminary data, the girl was driving a Mercedes intoxicated. According to the source, Anna used to work for Rossotrudnichestvo. A criminal case was opened against the girl under Part 6 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two persons").
