- The section between Pyatnitskoe Shosse and Strogino metro stations will be closed from April 30.
The section between Pyatnitskoye Highway and Strogino stations of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro line will be closed from April 30 to May 8 due to the construction of the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line tunnel. The press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development announced this on Friday, April 17.
"Myakinino, Volokolamsk, Mitino and Pyatnitskoye Shosse stations will be closed," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the message as saying.
It is noted that for the safety of travel, it is necessary to restrict movement in the work area.
During the work period, passengers will be able to use free buses of the compensation route along the closed section, as well as stations of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya metro line and the second Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-2), writes Moscow 24.
Ilya Vasilchuk, a judicial lawyer and an expert on the security of electronic and property transactions, said on April 16 that the rules of conduct in the subway are regulated by regional regulations and internal documents of transport services, while a number of requirements are evaluative. The lawyer explained that responsibility for violations is provided for by regional legislation. In Moscow, for example, a fine may be imposed for violating the rules of using the metro, and in St. Petersburg, an administrative penalty in the prescribed amount.
