Menyailo reported on the condition of the injured girl in Vladikavkaz

The condition of the girl who suffered as a result of the incident in Vladikavkaz is assessed as moderate. This was announced on April 14 by the Head of North Ossetia, Sergey Menyailo, in his Telegram channel.

"Her life is not in danger. She was admitted to the KBSMP (clinical hospital for emergency medical care. — Ed.), doctors provide all necessary assistance," wrote the head of the region.

The attacker himself was taken to the Republican Clinical Hospital. Law enforcement agencies are establishing the circumstances of the incident on Kirov Street.

During the investigation, it became clear that the suspect arrived at the crime scene by taxi. Upon inspection, a smoothbore hunting rifle was found in his sports bag. The police are currently examining CCTV footage and interviewing eyewitnesses.

"On this fact, the investigative authorities are deciding whether to initiate a criminal case under Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery"). The procedural decision will be announced additionally," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Ossetia reported on the Telegram channel.

After the incident, the Investigative Committee opened three criminal cases.

A source from Izvestia reported the attack on the same day. According to the victim's sister, 25-year-old Karina was stabbed. The girl was hospitalized in a medical facility. Later it became known that the attacker worked as an arbitrator at the North Ossetia—Alania championship and was convicted of purchasing illegal drugs.
