The development of intelligent algorithms requires mandatory government control and strict filtering of responses to user requests. This was announced on April 13 by Alexander Shoitov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Russia, speaking at the AI: Trust Regime forum.

In his opinion, censorship of AI is justified, unlike similar practices against citizens.

"You can't censor people here, they have rights. But specifically artificial intelligence — it should have censorship at the entrance and exit, which prohibit certain requests and questions," RIA Novosti quoted Shoitov as saying.

Ksenia Demina, head of the Gostech practice at the VTSIOM Analytical Center, announced the number of Russians who used AI during the year at a round table in the press center of the Rossiya Segodnya media group on April 9. According to the survey, more than half of the respondents (56%) are more likely to have a positive attitude towards neural networks. When choosing a neural network, 44% of Russians prefer domestic programs. In addition, 64% of the study participants expect more benefits from artificial intelligence in the next 3-5 years.
