A case was opened in Moscow after the death of a patient in a private clinic.
Investigators have opened a criminal case over the death of a patient during a medical procedure at a private clinic in central Moscow. This was reported on April 13 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (GSU IC) in the capital.
"A criminal case has been opened under <...> Part 2 of Article 235 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal conduct of medical or pharmaceutical activities that negligently caused the death of a person")," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that a forensic medical examination has been appointed as part of the investigation, as well as witnesses, including employees of the institution, have been questioned. In addition, the suspect will soon be taken to the department's department for investigative actions.
The fact that the patient died during a medical procedure in the center of Moscow became known earlier that day. It was noted that the woman who performed the procedure rented an office in the clinic. At the same time, she did not have the appropriate license to provide medical services.
Later, a source from Izvestia reported that the woman who died during the procedure had brachioplasty, an arm lift. According to his information, the 39-year-old client of the salon was injected with the drug Lidocaine, after which she went into anaphylactic shock.
