Slovakia called the victory of the Magyar party a "black day" for Hungary and Europe
The victory of Peter Magyar's opposition Tisa party in the Hungarian parliamentary elections is a "black day" for the country and for the whole of Europe. This was announced on April 12 by Lubos Blaga, a member of the European Parliament (EP) from Slovakia.
"A black day for Hungary, a black day for Europe. The Magyar won the election. It reminds me of 2020 in Slovakia," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
He explained that in 2020, Igor Matovich's party came to power, which, according to Blaga, "destroyed the whole country" in three years. The MP said that Hungarians have not learned from this situation and, therefore, will go through the same thing.
"Magyar's victory means that the Brussels military machine will strengthen. Hungary will be headed by an agent of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky. Europe is rushing to war against Russia, and the only ones standing in the way are [Slovak Prime Minister] Robert Fico and us, who stand behind him," Blaga concluded.
Earlier that day, Magyar announced the victory of his party in the parliamentary elections. According to him, together they managed to change the system of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
On April 12, the head of Tisa called on all the current leadership of the country, including Hungarian President Tamas Szujok, to resign. In addition, he called for the resignation of the head of the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General, the head of the media regulator and other senior executives.
