The Easter truce, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is a test of "lice" for Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. This opinion was expressed by Alexander Perendzhiev, associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, military political scientist, on Friday, April 10.

He noted that this would help to understand how capable the Ukrainian side is in general, because the Ukrainian side did not observe all the previous truces that were announced by the Russian leader and all the time showed its inability to agree to a truce.

"Although Zelensky has repeatedly whined after that that, they say, Russia is not going to a truce — please, let's go to a truce, we are waiting to see if he [will] behave like a normal person, <...> we want to understand again," the political scientist said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
