Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced on April 8 that the truce between Iran and the United States extends to Lebanon.

"With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, together with their allies, have agreed to an immediate cease—fire everywhere, including Lebanon and other countries," he said in a statement. Twitter).

On the same day, US President Donald Trump announced that he had agreed to suspend strikes on Iran for another two weeks. The head of the White House said that the United States had received a 10-point proposal from Iran to resolve the conflict. Washington is ready to continue working on its basis.
