Toyota sales in Russia increased by 111% in the first quarter

In the first quarter of 2026, 6914 new Toyota vehicles were registered in Russia. This is more than twice as much (+111%) as in the first quarter of last year, when the result was 3,283 new cars. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel on April 7.

In the first three months of this year, Toyota's market share in the Russian car market increased to 2.6%. Immediately, 88% of the brand's cars registered in the country were assembled at factories in China, the analyst said.

The most popular Toyota model in sales this year was the RAV4 crossover. In the first quarter, 2,350 copies were sold, which was 170% more than at the beginning of 2025.

The top five also included the Highlander crossover (2,263 units; +396%), Camry sedan (1,264 units; +38%), Land Cruiser 150 SUV (170 units; +100%) and Corolla sedan (158 units; -13%).

Earlier, on April 2, it became known that Mazda Motor Rus, which was the official distributor of the Mazda brand in Russia, received revenue of 3.04 billion rubles from car sales by the end of 2025, which is 17 times more than a year earlier.
