Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacked the bases of US fighter jets at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan. This was announced on April 2 by the press service of the Iranian army.

"This morning, the location of modern fighter jets of the American army at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan became the target of attacks by drones of the [Iranian] army," the IRIB state Television and radio company quotes the contents of the message in its Telegram channel.

According to the Iranian army, the attacked facility is considered one of the most important strategic and command centers of the United States in Western Asia.

On the same day, representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced attacks by Iranian military personnel on the United States Steel Corporation in Abu Dhabi, the United States Aluminum plants in Bahrain and Rafael Arms Industries, as well as on the shelter of the American military near the city of Manama. These actions, as reported, were carried out as part of the 90th wave of strikes of Iran's retaliatory operation called "True Promise – 4".
