Trump said on the same day that Brigitte Macron was treating the French leader "extremely badly."
"The statements you are talking about are not elegant and not worthy. Therefore, I will not answer them — it does not deserve an answer," Macron said. He added that now the whole world needs to focus on resolving the Middle East conflict and mitigating the economic consequences of the energy crisis.

We need to act for the sake of de—escalation, for the sake of a ceasefire, for the sake of resuming negotiations - only they can help achieve a deep settlement in the region, which is important for the stability of all our partners," Macron stressed.
