Germany criticized Zelensky's visit to Jordan
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Jordan took place against the backdrop of the country's political and financial failures. This was announced on March 30 by the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung (BZ).
"Zelensky's visit to Jordan comes at a particularly sensitive time. According to reports, Ukraine may run out of financial resources for a conflict with Russia as early as this summer. At the same time, the corruption scandal is shaking the government, and the €90 billion aid package in Brussels has been suspended," the publication says.
The publication also states that negotiations with King Abdullah II of Jordan were focused on a possible security partnership. Nevertheless, cooperation with the countries of the Middle East is designed to open up new opportunities not only in terms of security policy, but also in the economy.
Zelensky said on March 30 that Ukraine's experience could be applied to unblock the Strait of Hormuz. According to Zelensky, he shared Ukraine's experience on the Black Sea and pointed out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could be effective in the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
