The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Air Force has attacked the research and educational buildings of the University of Science and Technology in Isfahan, Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported on March 29 by the Fars news agency with reference to the press service of the educational institution.

"This morning, damage was caused by an airstrike by the American-Zionist enemy...> the buildings of the Iranian University of Science and Technology," the Telegram channel said.

It is emphasized that no one was injured as a result of the incident. The university administration, in turn, condemned the attack on academic facilities, as it, as they noted, contradicts humanitarian and international law.

After a while, Fars issued a warning to all employees and students of American institutions located in the Middle East. The text called on the designated persons to stay away from their authorities within a radius of 1 km. After the attack on its university, Tehran named US universities and training centers as legitimate targets.

A day earlier, Tansim news agency reported the death of Ali Fuladvand, head of the Iranian Defense Ministry's research center, as a result of an IDF attack on a residential area of Borujerd. His son and daughter also died as a result of the flight.

On March 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov called on Washington and Tel Aviv to stop attacking the Islamic Republic, and two days earlier, the Russian delegation to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) consultations on Iran called on council members to focus on de-escalation and a diplomatic settlement.
